Diapers: The Real Pot Of Gold For Families In Need
This April, we’re coming together to support families in Genesee County by participating in the Flint Diaper Bank’s annual Diaper Drive. From April 1 through April 30, we’ll be accepting diaper donations in our office to help provide this essential necessity to parents who need it most.
It’s a simple way to give back—and we’d love for you to be part of it! Keep reading to learn how a small donation can make a big difference.
Why This Drive Matters
Diapers are a basic necessity—but for many parents, they’re a struggle to afford. One in three families in Genesee County can’t buy enough diapers to keep their baby clean and healthy. In Flint, where poverty rates are among the highest in the country, the need is even greater.
Unlike food or healthcare, diapers aren’t covered by any federal or state assistance programs. That means many families have to make difficult choices—stretching diaper changes too long, using makeshift solutions, or even reusing diapers.
The Flint Diaper Bank helps close this gap by distributing over 1 million diapers per year to families through local nonprofit organizations. But they can’t do it alone. That’s where we come in!
How You Can Help
Getting involved is easy: just bring a pack of diapers—any brand, any size—to our office anytime between April 1 and April 30. Every donation goes directly to families in Genesee County who need them.
We’re also joining the “Diaper Creation” challenge with an “Around the World” theme—so stay tuned for some fun ways to participate!
Together, We Can Make a Real Impact
A single pack of diapers can make a world of difference for a struggling parent. Let’s come together as a community and help local families give their babies a healthier, happier start.
